Annie Blog 3.6.18
Blog #9 from the sanctuary at Kitten Rescue:
Like
sands through the hour glass, (or litter granules through the pooper scooper)
these are the Days of Our Nine Lives…..
Annie
here, I turned 13 last month, if you don’t know who I am then you have never
been to the sanctuary as I kind stand out having only one eye. I have a whole host of medical issues going
on these days, but all I really care about is food and a lap. And then there are the special days where I
get fed on a lap… now that’s living!
I’ll
try to keep this short as it’s almost nap time.
It’s been busy around here with Henri going to Nelli’s to be fostered. Mason and Gracie are at foster too. And Star was adopted! Pearlie, the other one eyed resident here at
the sanctuary busted out of ISO when Mimi was out sick, but Bob still in
it. Couple of new kids that were just
saved are in ISO temporarily as well, Daphne (she never stops talking) and
Violet. Welcome ladies, you’ll never need another home if you don’t want to
leave here. Izzy had an abscess on his paw
so he went to the doc’s right away and is back and recovering in ISO. Oh, oh, I
think Mickey has been adopted too or was that just me hearing voices? Oh and something about Harley’s mugshot going
up on the website to be sponsored. Lots
of us special needs kitties are sponsored by kind humans.
Rumor
has it that Oliver got put in “time-out”.
But we’ll leave it at that.
Over
on the social room side, Gobbles has been demonstrating his biscuit making
skills.

The Queen still rules, Libby and Meridia are making social progress and
Nikki is still in a box. (sigh).
Gotta
conserve my energy, I’m down to 4lbs, but I do get to eat whatever I want. C-Note does too, our eyes light up at all the
choices we have right now. We both have
a bunch of meds to take too and now I have fluids four times a week. I feel like it really cuts into nap time.
Daniel
asked me to thank everyone who donated and is supporting his marathon
efforts. He was kind of blown away by
the result. Not me, I have been in the
sanctuary a long time, I am very aware of the support we receive from people
all over the world. You are the
best! - Annie
