Like sands through the hour glass, (or litter granules through the pooper scooper) these are the Days of Our Nine Lives…..

I am Queen Teuta of Illryia (Ben must have named me, who else would have come with such a mouth full?)  I am a seven year old tri-pod, yes, that means three legs, so sometimes when I am in the mood, I let people help scratch the side of my head I have a hard time getting to.  I was left out on the streets to fend for myself, so forgive me if I have a chip on my shoulder.  I do like people, just when it’s convenient for me.  Today is convenient, I am high up on “MY Kuranda Throne”, supervising the workers and maybe flirting, listening to Taylor Swift, yes, that is my big secret, I am a “Swiftee”!  (Just humming to myself... "they'll tell you I'm insane, But I've got a blank space, baby, And I'll write your name..."  Oh that Taylor Swift) I was in such a good mood I even made biscuits for the whole sanctuary.  See https://youtu.be/u7uFqW2KYjM for proof.  So since I am in a good mood, let me tell you what’s going on around here.

First off, Pearlie is still in ISO and Belle threw a big fit on Monday about it, yelling at anyone, who’s attention she could get that she wanted her sister back STAT.  Belle, Pearlie is on the mend, when she is done with her eye treatment, she will be returned to you, now if we could just do something about YOUR snoring.

I believe Bob’s tests results have all come back good, but he refuses to leave ISO on grounds that the service is better there… Oh, Bob…

As for the gossip, seems panther Cassidy is cheating on George with Sallie Mae.  Things are getting weird around here!  And then they moved things around in again in the social room so that more Kuranda’s were getting sunlight.  Makes me happy, I dig the Kuranda beds and now with my healthier figure (even with just three legs), I can lay on any level I want.  Snoop got tired of Dakota so he headed back over to the “hotel”.  Not sure why they still call it that, but just for point of reference, I’ll use it to please the human servants.  Mason has been checking out gen pop while Gracie still prefers her enclosure, Mason checks on her several times a day.  And Frankie, he’s out and about.  Looks like all three will be up for adoption this week too.

The RR kids have been cleared of ringworm and will be going up for adoption this week.  Good on you kids, get out there and win some hearts over!

While he** did indeed freeze over and quite literally as it’s been in the 30’s here at night, our precious Mimi did return to duty as promised.  All is right with the world again.  Speaking of which, it appears Kona and Brother T, after many conflicting tests may NOT be positive for FeLV after all, keeping our paws crossed for those boys, they deserve another home. 

Eleven cats from the sanctuary have been adopted in 2018 already, twelve counting Mama Claire.  What a great start to the year.  Now Champ, if you could just stop worrying everyone, we could all start planning your birthday party.  Of course, I’ll be in charge of the music.

Mmmmm… I hear Taylor Swift again, got to go and get my charm on, got my eye on a certain contractor, just don’t tell the volunteers who make a point to spend time with me, I don’t want them teasing me… or cramping my style.  - Queen Teuta
